本日は、フィジー諸島産のサトウキビを使用したラム酒、
プランテーションラムシリーズのアイルオブフィジーを
新しく入荷いたしましたのでご紹介です。
熱帯のフィジー諸島にてバーボン樽で３年熟成し、
まろやかで南国を連想させるような香りとなっています。
その後、フランスのコニャック樽で２回目の熟成をすることにより、
糖蜜とバニラの香りから梨やリンゴ、バナナのフルーティーな香りが加わります。
味わいはバニラキャンディーのまろやかさに
ココナッツやプルーンのフルーティさが広がり
最後に、ほんのりスモーキーさと生姜のピリッとした辛さまで感じれます。
このカラフルなラベルにはフィジー諸島を代表する特徴の
美しいラグーンの青さ、エキゾチックな花々、
そしてイグアナが描かれています。

Rum made with sugar cane from the Fiji Islands,
“Plantation Isle of Fiji” was newly received today,
so I would like to introduce it.
Aged for 3 years in bourbon barrels in the tropical Fiji Islands,
It has a mellow fragrance reminiscent of a tropical country.
After that, by aging the second time in French cognac barrels,
Fruity notes of molasses and vanilla, pear, apple and banana.
The taste is the mellowness of vanilla candy and the fruitiness of coconut and prunes.
Lastly, it’s a rum that you can enjoy the slightly smoky and spiciness of ginger.
The label on this colorful bottle says,
It depicts the beautiful lagoon blues,
exotic flowers and iguanas that characterize the Fiji Islands.
