バーボン樽で4年間、熟成された
フランスの海外県マルティニーク島産の
ラム酒を再入荷しました。
土地が肥えていて作物が良くできる
肥沃な場所で育てられた、サトウキビの
フレッシュな風味と、ほのかにスパイスや、
コーヒーの焙煎香りが特徴的。
バーボン樽の甘いバニラのニュアンスが加わり、
やさしい滑らかな味わいに仕上がっています。
ラムJ.Mの蒸留所は、
鬱蒼としたジャングルの中にあり、
蒸留所周辺にあるJ.M農園から供給された
３種類のサトウキビを原料として作られています。
またJ.M蒸留所は、
サトウキビの鮮度をかなり重視しており
収穫後から1時間以内に粉砕したものを
原料にまわしています。
この蒸留所は、樽熟成にも非常に力を入れており、
熟成ラム酒は全て、蒸留所内で樽の内側を
焼き直しした物を熟成時に使用しています。
蒸留後のサトウキビの残留物は、
J.M農園に肥料として再利用されているため
J.M農園産のバナナは、ラム酒の味がすると
有名らしいです。

J.Mの名前の由来は1970年、ラムJ.Mの
創始者である、ジャン・マリー・マルタン氏の
名前の頭文字J.Mを樽に記した事から始まり、
以来、この2文字は彼の生産する良質なラム酒の
銘柄名となったそうです。
ボトルに描かれている絵は、
J.M蒸留所の遠景であり、現在4代目になる社長の
ウベール・デュシャン・ド・シャステニュ氏の
母親が描いた素敵な作品の絵です。
ストレートや、オンザ・ロックスタイルで

【Rhum J.M】
We have restocked Martinique Rum aged 4 years in bourbon barrels.
This bottle is characterized by the fresh flavor of sugar cane grown in a fertile place where the soil is fertile and the crops are good, the faint scent of spices, and the aroma of roasted coffee.
The sweet vanilla nuances of bourbon barrels are added to create a gentle and smooth taste.
Rhum J.M’s distillery is located in the jungle.
Three types of sugar cane harvested at the J.M farm near the distillery are used as raw materials for Rhum J.M.
J.M Distillery places great emphasis on the freshness of its sugar cane.
Therefore, the raw material is crushed within one hour after harvesting.
The distillery also puts a lot of effort into barrel aging.
All aged rums are aged in barrels that have been reheated inside the barrels in the distillery.
The sugar cane residue after distillation is used as fertilizer for the J.M plantation. Therefore, it is said that bananas grown on J.M farm taste like Rum.

The origin of the name J.M.
In 1970, the initials of the name of Mr. Jean-Marie Martin, the founder of Rhum J.M, were written on the barrel.
Since then, it has become the brand name of the high-quality rum he produces.
The picture drawn on the bottle is a distant view of the J.M distillery.
This is a wonderful painting by the mother of Mr. Hubert Duchamp de Chasten, the current 4th generation president.
It is recommended to drink straight or on the rocks style.
